Consoles
Sega Saturn
The Sega Saturn is an almost forgotten console, in terms of development:
most of today's homebrews are written for current generation devices, like the Wii,
DS, PlayStation 2, Xbox, etc.
Even considering the limitations of the console (mainly available memory restrictions), the Saturn
is still fit for software ports, and poses an interesting challenge to the developer in order to get
good performance exploiting machine features (like the slave SH cpu, for example).
Here are some homebrew ports made by me for Sega Saturn, sourcecode and precompiled binary are included
inside the archive.
Enjoy!
- RAW (Beta2) A port of RAW v0.1.1 (Another World interpreter), uses the Slave SH to mix sound.
Original work by cyx.
- REminiscence (Beta1) A port of REminiscence v0.1.9 (Flashback interpreter), uses Slave SH and adds some Saturn specific features.
Original work by cyx.
